The clouds have moved on and the frost has settled in. Plenty of time for an extra coffee or two as the start time will be pushed back by a bit. Think warm thoughts, please.

Well, after an inch of rain there are puddles here and there to contend with this morning, said Captain Obvious. They're disappearing by the minute, though, so don't be too dismayed. The sun is returning later on and the next few days look pretty good. Who says the west coast isn't the best coast?

6c and cloudy...another nice morning. .we will start on time...the showers aren't supposed to roll in until later this afternoon and the chance they will amount to anything is low...all next week is sunshine..in like a lamb? ...just asking. .

Cloudy and no frost...another great morning for golf on the west coast..we will be starting on time and,  for the first time in recent memory, on  fresh cut fairways in February. Our friends and family to the east of us might not be as happy with our situation as we are but...such is life. Play well.

It looks like an exact repeat of yesterday, maybe a degree warmer. .the start will be close to 10:00, then nothing but sunshine and a high of 10c...we'll take it.

-1c feels like -1c...I know what the weather network is getting at when they write that in but really? in the home country where it's-31 with a light breeze and it feels like -43 that's an important bit of information, -1 and feels like -1? not so much...what is important here is that we have frost and the start to your day of golf will be delayed...we got going just before 10:00 yesterday so I'm guessing we won't start earlier today...the sun will be shining. .sunscreen? ..

It's a bit chilly this morning but the remnants of yesterday's clouds have kept the frost at bay. It looks like the start will be on time and the sun will be coming along shortly. Have a great round.

My my my, how fast a weather forecast can change. ..it's supposed to rain today...where did that come from? ...we have frost at the moment so the clouds haven't been around for long...the best guess for today's start time will be near yesterday's guess of a slight delay...how's that for clarity and precision? ...bring an umbrella.

It's cloudy at present but we do have a touch of frost so a slight delay should be expected..the long range forecast changed to nothing but sun for the next 2 weeks which is a bit different than yesterday's forecast..trending in the right direction I'd say...has anyone contacted friends or family back east and complained to them that allergy season has started already with the flowers blooming and all...if not maybe do so, they need cheering up

Another clear frosty morning. ...the fog rolled in yesterday and melted the frost by 9:30 but I'm not so sure if that's going to happen today. ..aim for a 10:00ish start and you won't be far off the mark no matter what mother nature brings...

I experienced some technical difficulties yesterday, hence no blog,  but today everything is back to normal...there was no need for the snide remarks about that, thank you very much..at present the frost has settled in, now it looks like there might be some cloud cover coming in so that could be good news (if it warms up enough to melt said frost)or it could be bad news (if it blocks the sun from melting, again, said frost). Ooohhh what scenario is it going to be? Exciting stuff...If you start milling about the pro shop in that 9:30ish range the wait shouldn't be too long to get going...maybe...

Some overnight showers have kept the course from drying out too much thankfully, we wouldn't want that now would we...the start will be on time...the rain forecast for today looks spotty so you never know, it could miss us...then again? ??..at least it's warm.

Another 1/2" of the wet stuff didn't exactly help the golfer's cause. The Glen will need some time to drain before it opens for play. The Pines, however, is looking very good with just the odd puddle to dodge. We'll see you back there.

WARNING: Well over 2" of rain in the past two days MAY reduce distance off the tee. Instead of counting on lots of roll you'll just have to swing harder and carry the wet spots. Don't worry, it can't last forever. See you out there?

A bit of a breeze out of the east and the threat of some rain over the next hour or so...not a bad start to the day I'd say...at least the start will be on time...whatever you do don't look at the forecast for the rest of the week...how does someone come up with an 80% chance of 150mm over 4 days.?..seems like an odd set of numbers. ..probably just me..hope I didn't ruin the surprise.
