Wow, a brilliant almost full moon with a corresponding cool temperature. I don't think the delay should be too long if any, you know, one of those days. We're poking small holes in the greens on the Glen today so the start will be on the Pines that way there's no interruption to your round. Enjoy the sunshine.

Again there are showers in the area so umbrellas are nice accessories to have at hand should the need arise. Spring weather is at hand and right on time at that so be prepared for anything, weather wise.

It's a bit cool this morning but so far the clouds have kept the frost away. Barring some unforeseen, rapid, only-in-the-movies temperature plunge I think we can safely say that the start will be on time. Heck, the rain isn't even supposed to start until later tonight. If Leicester City win today this could go down as the greatest Saturday in recent history... Enjoy your round.

The sky is clear and there's a bite in the air that always screams, "Frost Delay!" Let's count on a 10:00 start while secretly hoping for 9:41. It's going to be sunny today and you will have a great round.

Beautiful sunshine seems to trump disappointment about a frost delay at least 51% of the time...well for the first three days anyway, then, all bets are off..stupid frost..there's no frost at my house...stupid cold weather..luckily this is only day three so the majority will still be happy. We're looking like a 10:00ish start today.

And the draining continues... Power carts should be okay on the Pines today but we'll have to keep the Glen closed to start the morning. The heavier rain has been pushed back to tomorrow, so if things go well the Glen should be open this afternoon if only to foot traffic. Enjoy your round.

2.5 inches of rain since Wednesday afternoon does not bode well for a full round of golf but I think we can squeeze in 9 holes today. The Pines will be open to foot traffic only as the cart path is impassable in spots. I'd recommend you get your golf in today, by the way: the rain is coming again tomorrow. See you out there.

What happens when it rains over 50mm on top of saturated ground.? Nothing pretty, that's for sure. This morning will be a write off for golf and if it doesn't stop raining soon the whole day will be a wash. El Niño!!!, jeez!!??!!!

Clear skies overnight with clouds and rain moving in...sound familiar..jeez..good news( kind of)...only light rain today which is a lot better than what is forecast for the next 5 days...oh yeah, winds gusting to 53 km/h today and jeez...the start should be on time.

More rain overnight so we haven't dried out any ...today is going to be the best day for a few days so don't cancel your golf hoping for better weather any time soon(maybe Thursday). FYI, we've received March's average precipitation already, anything more is a "bonus"...triple sigh.

Is it just me or did we get well over an inch of very windy rain yesterday? Some days are just completely devoid of the "fun factor" and that was one of them. In much better news, the sun is supposed to be out today, so all you'll need is a windbreaker and your clubs. Mind the puddles and enjoy your round.

Well, wasn't yesterday just special...we ended up with 28mm of rain so there will be a couple of puddles around..today is the best day until next week sometime so take advantage of the nice weather to get your round in. The start will be on time.

Heavy rain with gusts to 77 kph....until 4:00 pm... sigh...we have water pooling on the greens so we'll be closed until that situation clears up and that will be 10 minutes after the heavy rain stops. I'll update later.
