This is the time of the year for all the deer on the property to start having their young ones. If you see a fawn ( young deer ) laying in the grass not moving, don't be alarmed. That is how they hide from predators and usually the mother has just gone off to eat (or maybe have a nap). There has also been sightings of a turtle in the pond off the left of eighteen. We have yet to determine the species. Keep a watchful eye around and you might see a 'National Geographic' moment out there. Play well and we'll see you out there.

Whats to say today?? After the collective groan heard around the province last night I just assumed the Canucks lost. Next game will be different, we all hope. Today is a great day for golf, not too hot. As everyone has noticed the grass is growing nicely. Don't hit it in the long stuff. Enjoy whatever you do today.

When will this oppressive heat wave end??? There is some hope for a shower Tues. Lets keep our fingers crossed. Play well and we'll see you out there.

With a sunny high of 22 AND a Canucks game tonight this could very well be the Saturday that all others aspire to be. And tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! Its raining.!@#!@#. Just a light shower passing through the area this morning. The weekend looks like it's going to be scorcher so this rain is a blessing in disguise. Just because the Canucks are playing tonight is no reason to not play golf today. The forecasted rain might hold off so come on out and get some exercise before the game. I had a chance to talk to golf course personnel from across the province the last couple of days and the cold weather has affected everyone. No growth and poor recovery everywhere. Up to a month latter than normal in some places. This is the first morning we have had temperatures in the double digits so maybe spring has finally arrived. Play well and we'll see you out there.
