My,My,My,My..My, we must be special. We received a spot of precipitation overnight just in time to halt the moisture loss, due to the extreme heat. Clean living has its benefits. Nothing but sun again today...another day in paradise. Oh by the way, I think there is a hockey game on tonight that might be of interest. Someone said it is a special game so it might be worth trying to find the channel it is on and watching a few minutes. The course is set up for a ton of birdies today so come on out and get your fair share. We'll see you out there.

The good news is we get to watch one more hockey game this season. And more good news ...there are no goalie issues in Canuck land. Rest up for the next couple of days and prepare for the opening faceoff on Wed. night as I'm certain it will be a barn burner. Just a few showers passing through this afternoon so the day will be good for golf ( not too hot ). Stay out of the long stuff and we'll see you out there.

Fathers day special in the Pheasants Nest is back!!! Bring Dad in for a meal on Fathers Day Sunday and we will give him a round of golf. Reservations are required.

It looks like a pleasant day ahead with just a chance of showers around faceoff time. Get your game in today as tomorrow might be a lost day due to all the celebrations tonight. Play well and we'll see you out there.

Pheasant Glen Junior Open

Over 50 of the best junior golfers on the Island will be on site for the Pheasant Glen Junior Open this weekend. There is much on the line as this event consists of both boys and girls Zone 6 Junior, Juvenile, and Bantam Championships as well as a qualifier for the BC Junior Championships held in Rossland-Trail July 5/8. I guess I should welcome a number of people, including myself, back onto the Canucks bandwagon after last night's game. Having said that, it would almost be nice if they lost the next one so we could see a game 7 in Vancouver.

Note to self: this is not an NHL blog. With that in mind, I hope the showers in Parksville stay in Parksville and leave us with a nice day for golf. Keep your heads up, finish your checks and enjoy your day.
