There is some cloud cover this morning so the threat of frost has past ( unless it clears up and gets really cold ). The temperature is supposed to be above normal today with no rain so come out and enjoy a very pleasant day on the course. We'll see you out there.

There is just a bit of frost this morning. When the sun hits, it shouldn't take long to disappear. We are aerating the fairways as some of you might of noticed so keep an eye out for us. The equipment that we use is slow and cumbersome to move out of the way so we ask that you either wait for us to pass or you could move your ball and play around us. The cleanup of the cores is working really well as you can hardly tell we aerated when we're finished. Sorry for the inconvenience. The forecast is for warm weather into next week so come out and enjoy the good weather. We'll see you out there.

The 'F' word has surfaced again for another go around ( frost, silly ) . With the ground temperatures still fairly warm and the warmth of the sun it shouldn't be too long of a delay today if any. At this time of year it is hard to predict when the frost will arrive and when it will leave so a bit of patience goes a long way. Enjoy your day and we'll see you out there.

FROST!

Is it that time of year already? Today marks the arrival of the season's first officially frosty morning. Without any clouds in the sky, though, the sun should burn it off pretty quickly. Let's hope it doesn't push back any tee times because it looks like the rest of the day will be as good as it gets for Oct.15. Have fun.

It looks like the great summer weather that we have been enjoying for the last couple of months ( 8 weeks, 1 day, 8 hrs, 47min., ) or so has come to an end. So does the day ahead look like a good day for a game of golf? Most definitely! The day is not going to be as good as the days a week ago but will be better than the days a week from now. Come on out and capture a few fall birdies. They are supposedly only surpassed by winter birdies and those are a long ways away yet. We'll see you out there.

The Blog Days Of Summer

It looks as though the blog has taken a bit of a holiday in the busy days of summer. With golfing weather like this, though, that's not surprising. And it doesn't look like the sun is going anywhere soon. The forecast -- as if you didn't know this already! -- is calling for warm and maybe even hot weather for the rest of the week. Enjoy it while it lasts!

By the way, rumour has it that Gord has offered a parking spot, a new set of golf clubs, and a foot massage to the first keen-eyed viewer who can tell him from which green the above picture was taken.
