20mm of rain yesterday and overnight..the cloud cover from said rain cleared off around 5:30 this morning so even though we have frost, it isn't nearly as bad as we saw this past weekend. And what exactly does all this preamble mean? There will be a delay of the start time until 10ish and the greens won't be frozen so we should be playing on all the greens today. Full sunshine all day, get out and enjoy the day.

Cloudy with a few showers ..that sounds way better than clear and cold. The clear and cold is for the next week or so with rain forecast for the first week of December. My how opinions change about clear and sunny weather depending on the time of year... 'golfers' what a fickle bunch. Today is probably the only day this week we play on regular greens so keep that in mind if you're on the fence about playing today. Barring any unforeseen circumstances the start will be on time,on greens.

-1c and brilliantly clear skies and of course frost. I wish it would cloud over and rain..only at night though and it could warm up to 20c during the day ...then it wouldn't have to cloud over and rain... ok I wish it was warmer... short and sweet. Probably just temps today, just like yesterday (11:30 start on temps..)? We'll see.

It has been below zero since I went to bed last night and is currently -2 at the Pro Shop and -5 (no exaggeration) down at the driving range tee. Obviously, there will be quite a wait today, certainly longer than yesterday's 11:00 start. The greens feel like concrete (still no exaggeration), so we may have to start the day on temps when the frost comes off the rest of the course. We'll play that one by ear.

Well, in terms of temperature we're starting today a couple of degrees on the wrong side of 0. I have to assume we'll be shooting for a start closer to 11:00 than yesterday's 10:00. We only had frost yesterday; today we have Frost. See you out there as soon as we can.

Thursday

It's clear out so there is no surprise that there's frost... It's not near as cold as yesterday so logically the delay won't be as long. Now to get whoever is in charge of the weather to cooperate..?!??!? If you're warmed up and ready to go by 10:00 you shouldn't be far off the mark .. If something happens that we start quite a bit earlier than that I'll update.

Well so much for bright sunshine... This high cloud doesn't help any either...we won't be starting earlier than 10:30 and 11:00 is probably closer to the truth... Well cleared up the frost situation for another day.
