Clear skies overnight with clouds moving in at daybreak = frost in spots...now is it coming or going...the satellite pictures show heavier cloud cover almost upon us so I'd say the frost is  'going'...the delay in the start won't be long,  if any....

Another frosty morning is at hand...there are clouds moving in so we might warm up a bit sooner than yesterday, might,  being the key word... a 9:30 start is the goal today...  showers are forecast to arrive around dinner time so lots of time for golfing without an umbrella today. Play well.

The frost has left us. First tee will be in about ten minutes.

With zero degrees to be seen on the thermometer...frost it is. It's a couple degrees "warmer" than yesterday, so if all goes well the start time won't be pushed back quite as far today. However, there's plenty of time for coffee and donuts before you have to start the car. We'll update in a couple hours when things start to warm up.

Brilliant. ..the one word that best describes the full moon this morning and by now we all know what that means,  at this time of year..clear and cold...yes cold, -3c is cold...the frost will linger longer today than yesterday so we won't get started until after 10:00...patience.

The clouds moved in and the frost is gone...just heading out to cut the greens so we should be ready to go just  before 10:00

-2c...now that, as everyone knows, is a problem for us at the golf course. First, we have frost on the greens and that's going to delay the start...a given..second, now the twist, the greens are going to be frozen. When the frost melts the greens will still be frozen soo...we may have to start on temps. There is a slight chance of rain this morning sometime so the clouds are going to move in and either warm up everything enough to lets us golf or just enough cloud to keep the sun from warming us up and keep us in frost longer..complicated I know..check for an update at 9:30 and that could be sooner with a quick warmup situation. .and it's only Sunday.
