Alas, today has to come. Today is the first day of tee times starting latter ( 7:30 a.m.). Everyone knows that latter tee times means that summer, such as it is, is on the wane and fall is close at hand . If mother nature is at all fair we should get a winter of no winter to go along with the summer of no summer. I for one am voting for that. I see a few more players practicing longer than normal which means that the club championship is also approaching ( another sign of the end of summer )so I hope lots of people sign up for the tournament on the weekend.
